    How are our multicultural identities being expressed through fusion in art and culture in New Zealand? The workshop is aimed at generating interactive discussions and learning on how cultural fusion is shaping our multicultural identities.

    Mai Chen is  the Managing partner of Chen Palmer New Zealand Public Law Specialists, Barristers and Solicitors, Australasia’s first public law specialist firm, which she co-founded in 1994. She has led Chen Palmer for the last 18 years.

  • Confucius Institute to launch art exhibition at EthnicA Christchurch

    The Confucuis Institute will launch one of its most important exhibitions and research programmes on Harold Wilfred Youren, a peace advocate dedicated to opening dialogue between China and the West in the 1950's. He amassed a significant collection of art works which were gifted to him during his travels and which he used to illustrate his public talks on Chinese art and history. Three examples of his collection will be featured at EthnicA Christchurch.

  • EPICNZ Conference 2013

    This annual Ethnic People in Commerce NZ (EPIC NZ) conference provides a significant forum to build connections between ethnic businesses, entrepreneurs and investors and the wider New Zealand business community. It also offers advice about doing business overseas. This is the leading networking event for New Zealand businesses to connect with ethnic businesses to harness potential trade opportunities.   • Ethnic Leaders Forum

    The Ethnic Leaders Forum in Christchurch takes place once every three months.

    The day-long forums are focussed on leadership development, civic participation and collaboration across ethnic communities.

    It is open to ethnic leaders - but new participants interested in attending should enquire as places are limited to 45.
