Anjum Rahman receives full scholarship for 2017 Leadership Programme
We congratulate Anjum Rahman on receiving admission to the Leadership Programme at Leadership New Zealand. This programme is an immersive year-long experience, involving a series of retreats, seminars and debates.
Participants are carefully selected from a diverse range of sectors across New Zealand. Ms Rahman’s extensive community work and contribution to building a cohesive society enabled her to receive a full scholarship to participate in the programme.
Founded in 2003 the Leadership New Zealand Trust is governed and supported by prominent and passionate leaders from all sectors of New Zealand society. The Leadership programme provides a pathway to help develop resilient leaders who value diversity, are able to connect and build community capacity and create positive change across New Zealand society.
Ms Rahman’s appointment reflects a growing number of ethnic women who are increasingly recognised for their leadership potential and influence.
OEC wishes Ms Rahman all every success as she steps into her next leadership development experience. We value the contribution she makes to New Zealand society.
