Resources

Language Line has developed a number of resources to assist officials use telephone interpreting in the most effective way and to support those teaching and studying interpreting.

  • Language Line booklets – version V01.15 enables those who use interpreting to indicate which language they require. Help them by writing the name of their language in English on the space in the front of the booklet. Available in hardcopy only.
  • Posters - will help those who want to make others aware of the interpreting they offer or require. Available in hardcopy only.
  • Interpreting in New Zealand – Let’s Keep Talking is a new booklet which contains information for those using interpreting in their work. Available in hardcopy and PDF (1.43mb)
  • Interpreting in New Zealand – The Pathway Forward is a book of essays from people knowledgeable about different aspects of interpreting. Available in hardcopy only.
