    New Zealand on the world stage

    The Director of the Office of Ethnic Affairs, Mervin Singham has recently returned from attending two United Nations' forums in Europe: the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) and the Alliance of Civilisations Global Forum.

    He says participation on a world stage shows the strength and maturity of New Zealand's diverse communities.

    The Constitutional Advisory Panel will actively seek a broad range of views on New Zealand’s constitution in the first half of 2013.
