Wellington Khmer Association Inc

Wellington Khmer Association Inc., has the following purpose in brief:
. unite all ethnic Cambodian/Khmer in the greater Wellington region
. encourage and promote general interest and welfare of Cambodians in Wellington and as required in NZ
. preserve and promote Cambodian culture and tradition, language and sport
. work hand in hand with Wellington Cambodian Buddhist Trust based in Island Bay
. Maintain and liaise with other Cambodian Associations in New Zealand.

Events
. Celebrate Cambodian New Year every year in April
. Celebrate Cambodian Ancestor Days every year between Sept and Oct.
. Other cultural and traditional ceremonies as required
