Somaliland Society in New Zealand

As a Refugee organisation we help our community members in these areas.
1. Resettlement issues like helping with housing, employment, driving programmes, immigration, Police....Etc
2. We organise our community to come together in order to find out what their urgent issues are, like we have quite good members life alone so we link with other organisations who provide counselling and address their other issues.
3. We help our youth for employment and write CVs, cover letters and look for current jobs available with the work and income office in Newtown.
4. We have some family violence we help to create mediations and link other organisations who can help.
5. Another big issue we help is immigration issues working community law centres, Wellington, Hutt and Porirua.
6. We have a lot of cases with the Police and courts which we guide and help.
